The Owned Portal
One address, mine. Words, sound, image, and objects gathered where no one can revoke them. The light goes out from here.
The bearing
Where this harbor is bound — and why the light is worth keeping lit.
To build a self-owned harbor where creation, healing, and honest exchange can outlast the systems that made them scarce.
Providence Portal gathers my work — writing, sound, moving image, and things made by hand — onto ground I own, and sends it out as a steady signal rather than feeding it to a machine. It is a harbor: a place to make port, to trade fairly or receive freely, and to shelter the work of others I choose to welcome in.
Everything here is built to three principles. Sovereign — owned, not rented; my address, my words, my hardware. Sustainable — finite, grounded, powered by what the land can give rather than by extraction or surveillance. Regenerative — so that a small light can grow into something that tends the people and place around it.
The long horizon is Providence: an outward-facing gate that greets the world, funds its own care, and holds a grounded, land-connected community rooted in real bodies, real relationship, and real ground — a home that keeps its light after I'm gone.
Draft — written from what you've told me. Cut, rewrite, and make every line yours.
The long-term shape of the work — each tile a fixed point to steer by.
One address, mine. Words, sound, image, and objects gathered where no one can revoke them. The light goes out from here.
My signal broadcast onto a public grid no company owns — anyone can tune in, no feed deciding for them.
Own hardware, solar-powered, finite costs. Not rented, not surveilled — a vessel I actually captain.
Doorways others can enter — art, ideas, people, family — each room moderated with its own measure of care.
Deep, honest knowledge of the human body, taught with creative freedom and without censorship.
An outward-facing gate that greets the world and funds the quiet work of care behind it.
A land-connected, sustainable community — the inner circle the gate protects and provides for.
Held by a nonprofit, archived to endure — a harbor whose light stays lit long after I've sailed on.
